Toddler Fun
Staff to child ratio is 1 teacher for every 7 or fewer students. A class of 14 children is staffed with 2 staff members. This meets the states requirements. We strive to keep our toddler enrollment at 12. There are times we may have up to 14 but only when we have a child starting and one moving up soon.
We are licensed for 14 toddlers.
Children will be supervised within sight and sound at all times.
Our open door policy allows parents of enrolled children to visit during the day without notification. All other visitors will need to schedule a time to visit that is approved by the parent and staff. Please be respectful of the classroom programming that will continue while you are visiting.
Preparing Your Child for Life-Long Learning
Before they walk and talk, they interact. Interactions between caregivers and toddlers matter in a big way. These interactions lay the foundation for all subsequent development, making a focus on strengthening connections absolutely critical for improving child outcomes. At our child care center, our hands-on teaching efforts simplify our day by creating comfort, excitement, and peace of mind.
Our caregivers are experienced and certified to provide nurturing guidance while laying out the foundation for continuous growth and development. Our classrooms are safe and conducive to meet the needs of each child. Our classrooms have multiple teaching staff members and floaters that help facilitate developmentally-appropriate activities and classroom management daily.
Toddlers are meeting new challenges as fast as they come. Crawling, walking and eventually running are levels they accomplish in what seems like a blink of an eye. Children learn best if they are in a stimulating environment. Music, stories, outdoor play, and learning simplicities envelop much of the day. Our caregivers are dedicated in helping each child develop these skills through a trusting and loving relationship.
A parental daily report is given to update each family on meal times, nap times, toilet training, diapering and all activities accomplished each day.
